Founder's Red $30.00 Wine Club: $27.00

To celebrate the 30th year of the winery, we honor Eugene Foote, the man who started the winery in 1978.  In 1991 he passed the torch to us to continue the legacy he began.  This Cabernet Franc fits the "FootePrint" of our reds -- well balanced, full-bodied, straightforward and complex -- a tribute to the name E. B. Foote.

Founder's Red is 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

2007 Chardonnay                        $14.00                Wine Club:  $12.60

Chardonnay should be a balance of acidity, fruitiness and oakiness.  Tank fermented for five weeks then aged five months in new and one-year-old French oak, this wine is refreshing with citrus and lemon character and hints of buttery, vanilla oak.

Sweet Sherrill VI                         $14.00               Wine Club:  $12.60

Bacchus intervened to transform Sherrill's unfortunate accident into a crowning achievement.  Sweet Sherrill is Chardonnay with residual sugar, not by design, but by a serendipitous twist of fate.  It is rich, soft and has just a touch of oak.  The wine reflects the winemaker herself --

a bit sweet but with plenty of complexity.  The residual sugar is 2.3%.

2006 Zinfandel                             $24.00                 Wine Club:  $21.60

Bold and authoritative with deep raspberry and clove character to go with the smoky oak tones, this Zin will tantalize your tastebuds.  Full bodied, rich and ripe with plenty of forward fruit and moderate tannins with a bit of residual sugar to round out the palate.

2006 Syrah                                    $18.00                 Wine Club:  $16.20

The Graves Vineyard in the southern Columbia Valley is one of the oldest vineyards in the state, and is known for producing top-quality grapes.  The wine was aged in older French oak barrels for only 8 months to allow the flavors of pepper and spice, plum and berry to show through.  It has a bit of oak, but amazing depth of complexity.
